Open Access Policy
The Asian Journal of Arts and Social Sciences (AJASS) is committed to the principles of open access. We believe that knowledge should be freely accessible to everyone, and that unrestricted access to scholarly research promotes learning, innovation, and global collaboration.
Open Access Statement
AJASS provides immediate open access to all published content. All articles are freely available online without any subscription or payment barriers. Readers may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles without prior permission from the publisher or the author, provided proper attribution is given.
Licensing
All articles published in AJASS are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license permits users to share, copy, redistribute, remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial use, as long as appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and the source, and a link to the license is provided.
CC BY 4.0 allows users to:

- Adapt, remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially
Copyright and Author Rights
Authors retain full copyright of their work. Upon publication, authors grant AJASS the right to publish and disseminate their work electronically and in print.
- Archive pre-print and post-print versions of their manuscript
- Distribute their article on personal or institutional websites
- Share the article via academic networks or repositories
Repository Policy
AJASS encourages authors to deposit a copy of their published article in:
- Institutional repositories
- Subject-based repositories such as SSRN and RePEc
- Author’s personal website
- Any other open access archive
All deposits must include a citation and link to the official published version on the AJASS website.
Article Processing Charges (APCs)
All articles published in the Asian Journal of Arts and Social Sciences (AJASS) are freely available online as open access. To support this model, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is required to cover various publishing services, including editorial and author tools, article production, website hosting, abstracting and indexing services, and customer support.
There are no fees during the submission or peer-review stages. The APC is only charged after a manuscript is accepted for publication.
